WHAT YOU GET: we will personally host your day out to visit to one of Goa's most aristicratic residences. These treasure troves of history offer a fascinating insight into what life was like in Goa under Portuguese rule, and a family member will invariably conduct the tour for that personal touch.

A delicious, five course lunch (quite possibly the best you'll ever eat in Goa) follows a private tour of 'Palacio do Deaos' by the charming owner. This restored seventeenth century priest's Palacio is in the village of Quepem in south Goa. Enjoy a leisurely lunch of authentic Indo-Portuguese food, served in the idyllic setting of a garden terrace overlooking tropical grounds. A scenic drive home will return you to the beach in time for an afternoon swim and some extra Goan sunshine.

TRANSPORT: The Lunch Club originates in south Goa in the Palolem region, where the KOKO HQ and our hosts are based. We always aim to accompany our guests personally by picking them up by comfortable transport.

However, if your accomodation is located in a different part of Goa, we will be delighted to provide additional transport at the lowst possible cost, and your host will be waiting at the first venue to greet you.

We set off between 9.00 and 10.00 a.m and return home between 3.00 and 4.00 pm. Your transport will be by safe, comfortable car, equipped with seatbelts and air conditioning, and no journey should take longer than an hour.

FEEDBACK FROM OUR HAPPY GUESTS: "A fabulous day out! I would recommend it to anyone wishing to experience an authentic taste of Old Goa." (Carlos Anjos, Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal)

"I felt truly transported into Portuguese Goa - indulging in traditional culinary flavours whilst drawing on the ambience of a sympathetically restored priest's house, especially one that had managed to retain all the finest features of early Portuguese architecture." (Lucy Holgate, Yorkshire, UK)
